EWING, N.J. – The No. 10 TCNJ women's lacrosse team will host No. 13 Colby in a second-round NCAA Tournament game on Sunday.

TCNJ is hosting a second-round clash for the third year in a row after reeling off their 13
th consecutive NJAC championship with an 11-8 victory over Rowan on Saturday. The Lions have won six straight games – and nine of their last 10 – since a 10-9 loss to then-No. 5 Salisbury on April 15 and are 8-3 at home this season.

Ally Tobler (64G/22A/87DC) and Rookie of the Year
Marissa Lucca (60G/19A) power the offense, while
Kileigh Pfluger (25 CT) and

Colby is in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season and has reached the quarterfinals in each of the past two national championships. The Mules received an at-large bid and boast an 11-6 overall record, but 10 of their 17 games have come against nationally ranked foes; they went 5-5 in the powerhouse NESCAC.

Colby owns a 10-8 victory over No. 3 Wesleyan in its season opener, and half of its six losses were by one goal. Returning All-American Julia Jardina (41G/12A) and Ally Franz (46G/6A) lead the attack, while Kat Munter (26 CT) heads the defensive unit in front of goalie Sarah Hearns. Jardina (67) and Ainsley Dion (60) have combined for over 100 draw controls on the season.

The two sides have met three times in the NCAA Tournament, including last year's 14-9 victory for the Mules at Middlebury. TCNJ defeated Colby, 11-7, in the second round in 2019 and scored an 11-9 victory over the Mules in the 2013 second round.
