HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Jadyn Huff scored all five Lion goals for the No. 19 TCNJ field hockey team in a 5-0 victory over host Juanita College on Saturday.
It took Huff just 43 seconds to open the scoring after registering a hat-trick in the first quarter after just 13 minutes of play, while adding tallies in the second and third quarters.
Rayhanah Ahmed and
Claire Engebreth added assists on Huff's first two goals, respectively.
It was the first five-goal performance by a Lion since Oct. 4, 2013, when Lindsey Hatch scored five against William Patterson in a 7-2 win.
On the defensive side,
Brigitte Racey and
Abygail Jamison combined for the team's second shutout of the season. The win improved TCNJ to 3-0 on the season, while the Eagles fell to 1-2.
