BETHLEHEM, PA – On Friday, the TCNJ men's cross country team competed at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run, placing 24
th out of a competitive field of 45 teams.
Senior
Matt Granizo led the way for the Lions, completing the 8K course in 25:17.1. That time, an improvement of almost one minute from last year for Granizo, placed 48
th in a field of over 400 finishers.
Next for TCNJ were
Evan Melito (25:48.0) and
Kevin Matthews (25:51.2), who both finished just outside of the top-100.
Moksh Patwari (26:34.4),
Brandon Chen (26:40.5), and
Sean Haggerty (26.51.1) rounded out the Lions who broke the 27-minute pace. Finally, rounding out TCNJ's finishers at the race were
Phil Pace (27:15.9) and
William O'Donovan (28:30.2).
Next up for the Lions is an in-state race in Newark: NJIT's Highlander Invitational on Saturday, October 11.
