Huff, Racey Claim Marquee Awards to Headline Field Hockey's All-NJAC Six-Pack

11/7/2025 11:00:00 AM

PITMAN, N.J. – The TCNJ field hockey team picked up three major awards among a six-pack of honorees as the NJAC released its all-conference roster on Friday.

Jadyn Huff (Offensive Player of the Year) and Brigitte Racey (Goalkeeper of the Year) took home signature honors from the league, which also voted Sharon Pfluger, Robin Selbst, Richard Cox, Kileigh Pfluger, Pam Edwards, Wendy Trockenbrod, and Sidney Padilla-Provenzano as its Coaching Staff of the Year.

Huff and Racey were joined on the All-NJAC First Team by Mackenzie Hart, Heather Kimak, and Rachael Tetzlaff, while Isabel Maher received honorable mention.

TCNJ's six total All-NJAC performers are the team's most since 2016, and the five first-team selections are the highest total since 2018. Both tallies are tied for the Lions' best output since the 2010 team had six first-teamers and seven total all-conference honorees.

Huff makes her All-NJAC debut with a splash as Offensive Player of the Year, giving the Lions three consecutive such awards following the repeat selections of Rayhanah Ahmed in 2023 and 2024. The junior, who leads TCNJ in assists (13) while ranking second in goals (11) and points (35), led the NJAC with seven assists in conference play – three more than any other player – while ranking second to Hart with 17 points. She scored two goals against Kean and went off for two goals and three assists versus Ramapo.

Racey landed on the All-NJAC First Team for the second year in a row and becomes the first TCNJ netminder to claim Goalkeeper of the Year recognition since Christina Fabiano in 2017. Racey was an easy choice, posting three solo shutouts in league play and leading the conference by a wide margin in both goals-against-average (.484) and save percentage (.850). For the season, Racey boasts an .829 save percentage and 1.03 GAA and has logged six solo clean sheets, and ranks fourth in program history with 236 career saves.

Hart lands her first all-conference laurel after a breakout campaign in which she posted conference highs in both goals (8) and points (18) in the Lions' six league contests. Hart had a point in every NJAC game and scored a goal in all but one of them, including a hat-trick against Montclair State and two goals versus William Paterson. Hart paces the pride with 16 goals and 36 points for the year and has registered a point in nine consecutive games.

Kimak makes her all-conference debut after another stellar season on the Lions' back line. The senior leads TCNJ in minutes played (1,118) and has started every game for the second year in a row, serving as a key cog for a defensive unit that has allowed just over one goal per game and blanked nine different opponents.

Also an All-NJAC first-timer, Tetzlaff is the Lions' last line of defense and a critical weapon on both offensive and defensive corners. She ranks 12th in all of Division III with nine defensive saves, and with two more in Wednesday's NJAC semifinal victory Tetzlaff already owns the program's all-time record with 15 for her career. Also an important piece on offensive corners, Tetzlaff has provided two goals and five assists, including the helper on Maher's late game-winner on Wednesday. The sophomore has started every game of the last two campaigns.

A first team all-conference selection last year, Maher has reprised her role as a two-way force. The junior, who has started all but one of her 57 career games, is one of eight Lions to play over 1,000 minutes this season and has netted five goals after her clutch winner in the conference semifinals. Three of those markers came in league contests, with a two-goal effort against William Paterson complementing a goal in TCNJ's 2-0 regular-season win at Stockton.

The Lions and their all-conference cadre take on Rowan in the NJAC championship game on Saturday night, seeking their first conference crown since 2019.
