PITMAN, N.J. – The TCNJ women's swimming and diving team had a trio of athletes earn All-NJAC honors, as announced by the conference this morning.
Beth Evaldi repeated as the NJAC's Diver of the Year while
Melody Lin and
Erin Sommers garnered All-Conference Second Team and Honorable Mention honors respectively after their performances at this year's NJAC Championships.
Evaldi won her second straight 3-meter diving title and first ever 1-meter title en route to being named the NJAC's Diver of the Year for the second time. The junior is a six-time medalist at the NJAC Championships, with three individual titles and three runner-up finishes to her name.
Lin was named to the Second Team in both the 1- and 3-meter events, finishing runner-up to Evaldi in both. The junior is now a three-time All-Conference honoree, having claimed Honorable Mention honors in the 3-meter a season ago.
Sommers is a first-time All-Conference selection in her final season at TCNJ, placing third in the 3-meter to complete the Lions' sweep of the event and earn an Honorable Mention nod.
