EWING, N.J. - Six members of the TCNJ field hockey and women's lacrosse teams were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team, it was released earlier this week. Rayhanah Ahmed and Claire Engebreth made a second consecutive appearance on the list for field hockey, while lacrosse was represented by Julia Charest, CJ Kole, Marissa Lucca and Ally Tobler.

The 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

A nursing major with a 3.62 GPA, Ahmed is now a two-time CSC Academic All-District Selection. The senior capped off her TCNJ career in impressive fashion, repeating as the NJAC Player of the Year while earning spots on the NFHCA All-Region First Team and All-America Second Team after leading the Lions and ranking third in the NJAC in goals (13) and points (34).

Engebreth, a computer science major with a 3.81 GPA, repeated as an All-NJAC First Teamer and NFHCA Third Team All-American en route to her second CSC Academic All-District honors. Also a four-time NFHCA National Academic Squad pick, the senior paced both TCNJ and the NJAC with 10 assists in her final season in Ewing.

Charest boasts a 3.84 GPA while in the Integrative STEM Master's program, and is now a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection. The graduate student was steady as ever between the pipes for the Lions' lacrosse program, compiling a 13-5 record with 404 saves on a .462 save percentage en route to being named the NJAC's Goalie of the Year and earning a spot on the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region First Team for the third time in her career.

Kole earned the first CSC Academic All-District selection of her career in her first year of eligibility following a breakout sophomore campaign. A mechanical engineering major with a 3.92 GPA, Kole ranked third on the team in goals (50), assists (30) and points (80), earning a spot on the All-NJAC and IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region First Teams.

A nursing major with a 3.61 ERA, Lucca built on an impressive rookie season to become one of the country's premier offensive threats in 2025.  The junior ranked 16th in DIII in points (112) and 33rd in assists (47) – both of which are among the best single-season marks in program history – en route to being named a USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American in addition to her CSC Academic All-District selection.

Tobler capped off her historic career in record-breaking fashion en route to her second CSC Academic All-District honors. A Special Education major with a 3.72 GPA, the graduate student became the program's all-time leading scorer in 2025 – her 82 goals ranked seventh in Division III and made her just the 14th player in DIII history to eclipse 300 career goals. Tobler's 112 points on the year also ranked 16th in Division III and are the third most in a single season in program history. The graduate student ends her career as a three-time NJAC Attack Player of the Year, three-time IWLCA First Team All-American, two-time USA Lacrosse All-American and the 2025 NJAC Female Athlete of the Year.

NCAA and NAIA Women's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
