GALLOWAY, N.J. – Paced by Brandon Chen's 2nd-place finish, the Lions made it three straight team wins to start the year at the Osprey Open on Saturday.

Chen, who ran the 8K course in 25:08.28, was one of two Lions to finish in the top-5. Matt Granizo also logged an impressive finish of 4th overall in 25:11.28.

Two more TCNJ runners finished in the top-10 behind Chen and Granizo. Kevin Matthews finished 7th in 25:21.19, with Josh Santiago close behind in 8th place with a time of 25:23.03.
Finally, three additional Lions finished inside of the top-20 to help TCNJ claim yet another team win. Evan Melito finished in 13th (25:41.37), while sophomores Phil Pace (25:52.36) and Moksh Patwari (25:59.17) finished 16th and 17th respectively.

As a team, the Lions scored 34 points, which was 10 points better than a Moravian squad which won their region and competed at NCAAs a season ago.
The Lions will now prepare for a trip south to Salisbury, Maryland, where they'll compete at the Don Cathcart Invitational on September 27.
