EWING, N.J. – TCNJ women's basketball's
Katie Fricker has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, as released by the organization this morning. The selection is the first of Fricker's career and follows the senior's maiden NJAC Player of the Week distinction awarded earlier this week.
Fricker was the catalyst in a dominant week for the Lions, averaging 19.5 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game in a pair of 30+ point conference victories. The senior led all players with a career-high 24 points in TCNJ's' 33-point victory over Montclair State – the largest margin of victory for either side in series history – to open the week before posting a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double with five assists in a 95-55, Senior Day win against New Jersey City. Fricker shot an efficient 50 percent (10-of-20) from the field, sank three triples and was a perfect 16-for-16 at the free throw line across both wins.
The Lions are back in action Wednesday, Jan. 21 to take on William Paterson. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
