Lions Post Quartet of NJAC Weekly Winners

11/2/2026 2:29:00 PM

PITMAN, N.J. - Four TCNJ student-athletes garnered weekly conference honors, as announced by the NJAC this afternoon.

Football's Grant Lorentzen was tabbed the Offensive Rookie of the Week while Finn McCarthy earned his first Rookie of the Week nod for men's soccer, with Kylie Arnot and Jenna Ringel rounding out the Lions' honorees with a sweep of the Diver of the Week awards.

Lorentzen finished with three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 25-21 loss to Montclair. The rookie got behind the defense for a 29-yard score to give the Lions a 7-3 lead early in the second quarter, and later hauled in a 46-yard reception on the first possession of the second half, setting TCNJ up inside the red zone en route to an eventual touchdown. The rookie also returned four kickoffs for 94 yards.

McCarthy was a difference-maker on both ends in the Lions' lone match against Stockton last week, scoring his first collegiate goal to lead TCNJ to a 1-1 draw and the No. 3 seed in the NJAC Tournament. The tie helped the Lions finish the regular season unbeaten for the first time in program history and has them as one of just three undefeated teams left in all of Division III.

Arnot joins McCarthy as a first-time honoree after topping both boards over the weekend, posting NJAC-best scores in both events for six dives. Her scores of 316.80 on the 3-meter and 279.9 on the 1-meter were both regional cuts.

Ringel, meanwhile, rounded out TCNJ's recipients and the diving sweep by achieving her first regional cut of the season in the 3-meter Saturday. The junior logged a score of 265.88 in that event to win, and also posted a mark of 207.75 in the 1-meter.
