PITMAN, N.J. - A trio of rookies claimed weekly NJAC awards, as announced by the conference this afternoon. Women's Soccer's Isabella Daley and Cross Country's Will Nelson and Ananya Raja were all named the Rookies of the Week for their respective sports, marking the first NJAC honors of their careers.
 
Daley led the Lions' defense to a pair of shutouts in a 1-0-1 week. The freshman played all but four minutes at center back across both games, helping TCNJ secure a scoreless draw against Stevens before grabbing a 3-0 win against a potent Berry team that totaled 32 goals in its six prior games. 
 
Raja paced the women's cross country team for the second time this season, placing fourth overall in the 4K (16:40.1). The Lions finished second with 46 points, finishing ahead of the other D3 teams in the field in the WCU Purple and Gold Open.
 
Nelson rounds out TCNJ's selections after finishing as the top collegiate runner in the 8K on Saturday, with only club runners finishing ahead of his fourth-place run (27:29.1). TCNJ placed as the top D3 squad at the WCU Purple and Gold Open.
