Ewing, NJ…The College of New Jersey's women's tennis team hosted the Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College on Saturday afternoon in TCNJ's Student Recreation Center. Ranked No. 17 in Division III, TCNJ tallied a 7-2 win over No. 30 ranked Skidmore. TCNJ is now 6-1 overall, while Skidmore drops to 5-1.

Jackie Shtemberg (Franklin Lakes, NJ/Ramapo) collected an 8-2 win over Skidmore's pair of freshman Rachel Loeb (Greenwood Village, CO/Cherry Creek) and sophomore Dani Fancher (St. Louis, MO/Ladue Horton Watkins). With the victory, Shtemberg and Contraffato, who are ranked third in the region, improved to 15-5 overall this season, while Skidmore's top pair, which holds a No. 9 regional ranking falls to 10-3 with one another.
Shtemberg added a 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles over Loeb, while Fancher tallied a 7-5, 3-6, 10-1 victory over TCNJ's freshman
