Ewing, NJ ... The College of New Jersey football team will head north to square off against Buffalo State on Saturday, October 23. The Lions (2-4, 2-3 NJAC) are coming off a 30-6 win over Morrisville State College and will attempt to make it two straight against the Bengals (1-5, 1-4 NJAC).
Buffalo State raised eyebrows with its 70-3 win over Western Connecticut University two weeks ago, as they are now averaging 26.7 points per game. The Bengals dropped a 35-20 decision to Montclair State University last weekend.
The Lions hope to continue their momentum after gaining 338 yards on the ground last week, and intercepting six passes on defense.
The game is slated for a noon kickoff. The weather in Buffalo is expected to be mild, partly sunny and 61 degrees.
