Wayne, NJ...The College of New Jersey women's tennis team rolled to another New Jersey Athletic Conference victory as the Lions collected a 9-0 victory at William Paterson University on Wednesday.

The victory was the 133rd straight conference win for the Lions as they moved to 2-0 on the young season.

TCNJ's line-up was steady from top to bottom with four players winning in singles by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores. Winning by that score were sophomore Karisse Bendijo (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) at first singles, sophomore Paige Aiello (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) in the third spot, freshman Tara Criscuolo (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) in the fourth position, and Lauren Balsamo (Wall, NJ/Wall Twp.) at sixth singles.

The tandem of Emily Petersack (Mercerville, NJ/Notre Dame) and Crisuolo had strong match at third doubles winning 8-0.

TCNJ will be busy over the weekend playing a pair of conference matches on Saturday, September 11. The Lions face Richard Stockton College in an 11:30 a.m. start and later in the day facing Kean University at 3 p.m.
