They went on to defeat Potsdam State, 78-62 to earn a trip to the Final Four. The Lions blew out Southern Maine in the national semi-final, 84-62 before falling to Wisconsin-Whitewater, 94-86 in the title game.
The 1989 team was inducted into TCNJ's Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame as a Team of Distinction in 2004.
