EWING, N.J. – Matthew Solomon put a bow on his legendary TCNJ men's basketball career with a spot on the D3hoops.com All-America Team, announced Tuesday afternoon by the organization.

Solomon was named to the All-America Fifth Team, a hard-earned final laurel for one of the most accomplished players in the history of the program. He becomes just the second TCNJ player to be selected as a D3hoops.com All-American alongside Travis Jocelyn, a Third Team honoree in 2021.

Solomon became a first team D3hoops.com All-Region and NABC All-District selection for the first time in his career after a standout campaign in which he became the first TCNJ player to be named NJAC Defensive Player of the Year. Also a three-time all-conference honoree, including a first-team honor this season, Solomon averaged career highs in both scoring (14.4 PPG) and rebounding (11.3 RPG), leading the NJAC in every rebounding category while ranking in the top-10 nationally in total rebounds (329, 4th), rebounds per game (10th), and double-doubles (16, 6th).

The active leader in Division III in career rebounds, Solomon finished his remarkable tenure in Ewing with a school-record 1,034 caroms, and his 329 boards in 2025-26 are second-most for a single season. A unique all-around player, Solomon also finished fourth in school history in assists (297) and 14th in both points (1,248) and blocks (48). He also owns the program record for rebounds in a game, pulling down 22 in last year's NCAA Tournament clash with Pitt-Bradford.

A standout in the classroom as well, Solomon was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14.

A Marketing major, Solomon is now a 3-time Academic All-District honoree.
