Ewing, NJ…After winning all six of its matches during the fall portion of the season, The College of New Jersey women's tennis team opened the spring slate without missing a beat netting a 9-0 win on Saturday over visiting Dickinson College.
The win put the Lions at 7-0, while the match was the first dual meet for the Red Devils (0-1).
With her win in first doubles, senior
Allison Tierney (Berkeley Heights, NJ/Governor Livingston) reached the 100-win plateau and then moved that number to 101 with a win at second singles.
The Lions are right back on the court tomorrow, February 24 with another non-conference match taking on Virginia Wesleyan College.
