Ewing, NJ…After having nearly a month between matches, The College of New Jersey women's tennis team showed no signs of the lay-off as the Lions handled visiting Washington College 8-1 on Tuesday.
The win kept TCNJ undefeated on the season as they moved to 11-0, while the Shorewomen dropped to 3-4.
TCNJ's last match came over spring break when they defeated St. Lawrence University in Florida on March 11.
Senior
Karisse Bendijo (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) won at both singles and doubles raising her combined record in dual meets to a perfect 22-0.
Sophomore
Alex Bologno (Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Beach) won at fourth singles and third doubles to keep her perfect record this season. Overall, she is 10-0 in singles play and is 13-0 in doubles.
TCNJ heads to the National Training Center tomorrow, April 3 to participate in the New York University Doubles Tournament.
