Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey football team is primed for its home opening contest against Farleigh Dickinson-Florham this Friday night at 7 p.m. in Lions' Stadium.
The Lions (0-1) look to rebound from their 28-20 loss to Ursinus College in their season opener last week. Featuring a first-year head coach, two new coordinators, and a fresh-faced quarterback, TCNJ now has an official game under its belt and can push forward to focus on the opponent at hand.
Sophomore running back
Victor Scalici (Freehold, NJ/Colts Neck) led the ground attack with a pair of touchdown runs, while senior co-captain
Nick Bricker (Middletown, NJ/Middletown South) registered 17 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
It will be the season opener for FDU-Florham as they enter their third season under head coach Brian Surace. For more notes on the game, click
