Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's tennis team handed visiting Ramapo College its first loss of the season as the Lions blanked the Roadrunners 9-0 on Friday.

The win was the 151
st straight New Jersey Athletic Conference win for TCNJ and the Lions improved to 3-0 against conference foes this fall. The team is also 3-0 overall.

The loss was the first of any kind for Ramapo as its five-match winning streak came to an end. The Roadrunners are 3-1 in the NJAC.

Freshmen
Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) and sophomore
Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette (Union, NJ/Union) continued to roll in the first doubles position with an 8-0 win. That victory elevated their record as a team to 7-1 this fall.

Senior
Tara Criscuolo (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) and sophomore
Emma Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) added an 8-1 win in the second position and the duo of junior
Sarah Lippincott (Millville, NJ/Millville) and freshman
Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) posted a win in the third slot.

Those six players each added wins in singles, securing the shutout.

TCNJ continues its busy weekend with a pair of conference matches on Saturday. The Lions host Rutgers-Newark at 10 a.m. and then take on William Paterson University at 1 p.m.
