Ewing, NJ…The College of New Jersey and Ursinus College will square off in a showdown of highly-ranked field hockey programs tonight (Thursday) when they meet under the lights at Lions Stadium.
Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
The Lions enter the game ranked fourth in the latest NFHCA Division III poll and have a loft record of 13-1. They are also riding a modest five-game winning streak. The Bears are right on TCNJ's heels ranked fifth and they enter Thursday having won eight straight contests. Ursinus is 11-1 on the year.
Both teams possess potent offenses as TCNJ enter the week leading Division III in goals per game at 5.69, while Ursinus is third at 5.58. The Lions have three players who have already reached double figures in goals and that group includes senior 
Lindsey Hatch (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) with 22, sophomore 
Jaclyn Douglas (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) with 17 and senior 
Erin Healy (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) with 14.
The Bears are paced by junior 
Megan Keegan (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) with 15 goals, while classmates 
Danielle Strong (Gilbertsville, PA/Boyertown Area Senior) and 
Devin Brakel (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro North) each have 10.
