Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's tennis team kept its record perfect at home on Saturday as the Lions coasted to an 8-1 win over Stevens Institute of Technology.
 
TCNJ has won all seven home matches over the course of the season and boast an overall record of 9-3. The loss knocked the Ducks to 8-7.
 
The biggest win of the day for the Lions was in the first doubles match-up as the team of sophomore Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette (Union, NJ/Union) and classmate Emma Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) picked up an 8-2 win against Jessica Bourque and Lisa Territore, who were All-Americans at the end of the 2013 season.
 
TCNJ claimed the other two points in doubles as well with the second team of freshman Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) and senior Tara Criscuolo (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) earning an 8-4, while the third tandem of junior Sarah Lippincott (Millville, NJ/Millville) and freshman Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) cruised 8-0.
 
In singles, the Lions won the second through six positions to finalize the victory. Getting those wins in order were Buchbinder, Criscuolo, Allen, Prestera, and Lippincott.
 
TCNJ will go after its 10^th win of the season tomorrow, April 6 hosting Franklin & Marshall College at 11 a.m.
