Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey women's tennis team had a very successful home opener against Richard Stockton College as the Lions won all nine points to blank the Ospreys 9-0 on Wednesday.

The win put TCNJ at 3-0 on the season with all three of these victories coming against New Jersey Athletic Conference opponents. It also extended their conference winning streak to 157 straight.

In doubles, junior
Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette (Union, NJ/Union) and classmate
Emma Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) started with an 8-1 victory in the top position, while freshmen
Maddy Stoner (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) and
Nadia Olesnycky (Florham Park, NJ/Academy of St. Elizabeth) won at second doubles, 8-4. Sophomores
Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) and
Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) finished off the doubles competition with an 8-2 decision in the third spot giving the hosts a 3-0 advantage.

The Lions then swept all six positions in singles play as Muniz-Cadorette, Buchbinder,
Brittany Reedman (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown), Allen, Stoner and Prestera earned victories in the first through sixth spots.

TCNJ will be hosting its annual Lions' Tournament as New York University visits Ewing for a two-day tournament starting on Friday, September 12 and wrapping up the following day.
