The win dropped third-ranked TCNJ from the ranks of the undefeated as they fell to 8-1, while the second-ranked Sea Gulls moved to 9-0.

Salisbury scored the only goal of the opening half when Becca Rinaca tallied 18:21 into the contest.

The hosts then scored two more goals in the second, before the Lions broke through in the final seconds.

TCNJ got that goal on a penalty corner with time expired when sophomore
Jaclyn Douglas (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) poked in her ninth goal of the season. Earning an assist on the play was senior
Lindsey Hatch (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.).

The Lions had their chances as they outshot their hosts by a margin of 16-10, while holding a 14-6 advantage when it came to putting those attempts on goal.

The Lions finally return home on Tuesday, September 30 when they host Richard Stockton College at 7:30 p.m. in Lions Stadium. This will be the first time since September 2 that TCNJ has played at home.
