Ewing, NJ... Thirteen proved to be a lucky number for The College of New Jersey women's tennis team as the Lions rolled to an 8-1 win over Franklin & Marshall College on Sunday.

That win was the 13
th of the year for TCNJ (13-1) and they also stayed undefeated at home, winning each of their 10 matches.

The loss knocked the Diplomats to 10-4.

The match got off to a great start for the Lions as they swept up all three points in doubles. The top pairing of juniors
Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette (Union, NJ/Union) and
Emma Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) won 8-5 with the freshmen duo
Brittany Reedman (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and
Maddy Stoner (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) earning an 8=3 triumph in the second slot. Sophomore
Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) and freshman
Danna Tsay (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) then won their third straight match since being put together as the third team, posting an 8-2 victory.

The Lions won the final five matches in singles play with Reedman starting that string of victories. Following with wins were Allen, sophomore
Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge), Stoner and Prestera.

TCNJ has one more regular-season match remaining on the schedule when St. Lawrence University travels to Ewing to take on the Lions. That match is on Sunday, April 26.
