Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey women's tennis team ran its record to 8-0 as the Lions picked up a 9-0 victory over Swarthmore College of Friday.
 
The result was never in questions as the Lions swept doubles for a 3-0 lead and then collected all six available points in singles play.
 
Juniors Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette (Union, NJ/Union) and Emma Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) opened the match with an 8-4 win at first doubles, while the second pairing of freshmen Brittany Reedman (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and Maddy Stoner (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) cruised 8-0. The final point in doubles came from sophomores Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) and Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) earned an 8-2 victory in the third spot.
 
The Lions did not lose a set in singles as Muniz-Cadorette (6-2, 6-1), Reedman (6-1, 6-3), Allen (6-1, 6-0), Buchbinder (6-2, 6-0), Stoner (6-1, 6-0) and Prestera (6-3, 7-5) won in the first through six positions.
 
TCNJ's next match is set for Thursday, April 9 when they host Muhlenberg College.
