Mahwah, NJ … The College of New Jersey lacrosse team registered its third win of the season and first New Jersey Athletic Conference victory with a 17-1 decision over Ramapo College.
 
Erin Waller (Washington Twp., NJ/Washington Twp.) enjoyed a huge game offensively with four goals and five assists. 
Courtney Natalicchio (New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) and 
Megan Devlin (Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) each rippled the back of the net three times, while Natalicchio also added four assists.
 
It took Waller just 56 second into the game to open the scoring. She assisted on a goal to Devlin and tallied her second goal and TCNJ was off and running with a 3-0 lead less than four minutes into the match.
 
Elizabeth Morrison (Stonington, CT/Stonington) scored her fourth goal of the season with 2:01 remaining in the half to give the fifth-ranked Lions a 12-1 lead at the break. Morrison had another solid game, compiling seven draw controls and four caused turnovers. Devlin also recorded six draw controls and caused a pair of turnovers.
 
TCNJ outscored Ramapo 5-0 in the second half and held a 28-3 advantage in shots for the game.
 
Freshman 
Miranda Chrone (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) recorded the win in goal for TCNJ, making two saves, while allowing just one Roadrunner score.
 
The Lions are back in action March 12 when they travel to Neumann University for an 11 a.m. contest.
