Ewing, N.J. … The College of New Jersey women's tennis team defeated Stockton University this afternoon by a score of 9-0. They now hold a 2-1 overall record, and are 2-0 in NJAC matches.
 
In singles action Sneha Rangu (East Windsor, NJ/Mercer County Health Science Academy), Alyssa Baldi (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah), Anna Prestera (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat), Brittany Reedman (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown), Maddy Stoner (Ewing, NJ/Ewing), and Katie Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) all recorded two set victories.
 
The duos of Rangu/Baldi, Stoner/Grace Minassian (Closter, NJ/Northern Valley Demarest), and Prestera/Danna Tsay (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) earned the doubles wins.  
 
The Lions have a quick turnaround as they head to Ramapo College tomorrow, September 8 for their second NJAC contest in as many days. The match is set to start at 4:00 p.m.
