Easton, Pa. ... The College of New Jersey women's tennis team registered its 12th victory of the season as they defeated Division I Lafayette College, 8-1.

It marked the second Division I opponent the Lions have defeated this month. They upended Rider University 6-1 last Tuesday.

TCNJ swept all three doubles matches and topped the Leopards in five of six singles bouts. Sneha Rangu (East Windsor, NJ/Mercer County Health Science Academy) outlasted Rocine Mosachelle after being tied up after two sets. She won the super tiebreaker 10-7 to clinch the match and also came out on top at third doubles with Audrey Chen (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor North), 6-2.

Brittany Reedman battled to a 7-6 (7-3) win in her opening set at second singles. She cruised from there, topping Tori Almeida 6-1 for the straight-set triumph. Sophomore Mackenzie Holleran also wrestled a win away from her opponent. She netted a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Gabby Montes.

TCNJ will take on St. Lawrence University this Saturday at 1 p.m. They will also celebrate Senior Day for Anna Prestera and Katie Buchbinder, who are playing their final season this spring.
