MAHWAH, N.J. – The College of New Jersey women's swimming & diving team defeated Ramapo College in a New Jersey Athletic Conference meet on Saturday by a final score of 174-88. The Lions improved to 1-1 while the Roadrunners dropped to 0-2.
The Lions 200 medley relay squad took first place and secured 11 points. The foursome of
Zoe Chan,
Annie Menninger,
Maddie Hynoski, and
Elise Fraser topped a field of five with a time of 1:55.
Gabi Denicola won the 1000-free with a time of 11:27.
Melanie Fosko took the 200-free as she clocked in at 2:05, and
Hailey Thayer won the 100-back with a time of 1:02.
Chiara Mennonna took the 100-breast with a time of 1:13, and
Kazia Moore won the 100-free with a time of 56.60.
Next up for the Lions is a home meet next Saturday, Nov. 10, against Stevens Institute of Technology at 2:00 p.m.
