FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The College of New Jersey women's tennis team swept double play and took a pair of straight set singles matches to defeat Wilkes College 5-0 in the first round of the NCAA tournament Friday morning. The 37
th-ranked Lions improved to 17-4 with the victory, while the Colonels fell to 15-5.

Katrine Luddy opened the scoring at number one with an 8-3 victory.
Grace Minassian and
Alyssa Baldi won 8-6 at number two.
Sarah Phung and
Navya Yemula combined for an 8-7 win at number three.

Baldi and
Audrey Chen were the first two to finish in singles play at number four and five respectively. Baldi won 6-1, 6-2. Chen earned the victory 6-2, 6-4.
