EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey women's tennis team completed day two of action in the Kickoff Tournament. The Lions and Violets of New York University competed in round of singles and doubles play. TCNJ won one of five doubles matches and three of nine singles matches against the perennial power.
 
The Lions got their doubles win from the pairing of Amy Yan and Ally Yan, who earned an 8-6 win. The duo improved their career record to 12-0.
 
In singles play, Charlotte Roarty earned a 7-5, 6-4 win. Julia Yoon was dominant in a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Navya Yemula won an 8-7 pro set with an 11-9 tiebreak.
 
The Lions return to action Saturday, Sept. 14 when they host an NJAC double header against Ramapo and William Paterson.
