EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey women's swimming and diving team remained unbeaten in conference dual meets, defeating Kean 167-71 Monday afternoon. With the win, the Lions improved to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in NJAC duals. The Cougars dropped to 5-7 overall and 0-5 in conference meets.

The Lions were dominant from the opening horn.
Meagan Healey,
Chiara Mennonna,
Kori Jelinek, and
Melanie Fosko combined to win the 400-Medley Relay with a time of 4:15.03, over six seconds ahead of the field.

In the 1,000-Free, the Cougars fought back with their lone event win of the dual. Kristina Sullivan won the event with a time of 11:20.33. The Lions took second, third, and fourth to maintain the overall lead.
Cameron Carrazza swam 11:35.38 to finish second.

Zoe Chan and Faith Cortright finished one-two in the 200-Free with swims of 2:00.70 and 2:05.65. In the 100-Back, the Lions took the top three finishes with Sofia Harty going 1:03.21 for the win, followed by 1:06.15 for
Katie Doyle and 1:06.19 for
Kazia Moore.

In the 100-Breast, Mennonna topped the field with a time of 1:11.19. Jelinak swam 1:11.19 for second, with
Samantha Askin going 1:13.97 for third.
Nicki Meskin topped the field by over 11 seconds in the 200-Fly, stopping the clock at 2:20.12.

The Lions swept the 50-Free as
Rachel Hannah out-touched
Annie Menninger 25.63 to 25.77 for the event win.

Out of the break,
Shannon Hesse won the 100-Free with a strong swim of 56.22. Harty won her second event of the day with a 2:17.53 time in the 200-Back. Chan continued to shine in the 200-Breast with a winning time of 2:33.15.

Cortright got her first event win as a Lion in the 500-Free, finishing in 5:31.20. Jelinek won the 100-Fly in 1:01.72, over two seconds ahead of the field.

Fosko swam ahead of the field in the 200-IM. She stopped the clock at 2:20.49. In the final event of the day,
Anna Kisker, Askin, Menninger, and Moore combined for a time of 1:44.97 to win the 200-Free relay.
In the diving well,
Hailey Stack posted a score of 409.95 in the 1-meter, a regional qualifying score.
