LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The College of New Jersey women's track and field team defeated Stockton University in a dual meet Friday night. The Lions won by a final score of 93-72.

Kaila Carter got the Lions off to a quick start in the 55 meter hurdles. Carter led four Lions who posted AARTFC qualifying times with a personal best of 8.22, also the program's third fastest time since 2000. The time converts to an 8.84 60-hurdles time which currently ranks second in the nation.
Kassidy Mulryne's converted time of 9.06 ranks 10
th nationally.

Sam Gorman continued the strong sprint day for the Lions, winning the 55 meters with a personal best and AARTFC qualifying time of 7.39.

Katie La Capria won the 400 meters with an AARTFC qualifying time of 59.74.
Alli Uhl followed with an AARTFC qualifying time of 2:18.52 in winning the 800 meters.

Valandra Riggins won the 200 meters with a personal best of 27.23. Gabby DeVito won the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:57.91.

Shannon Lambert,
Megan Gasnick, and Gorman ran the program's second fastest 4x200 relay since 2000 with a run of 1:44.32.

In the field,
Laila Rich improved her personal best in the weight throw by over two meters with a launch of 12.39 meters.
Christine Woods set a personal best and AARTFC qualifying mark of 1.59 meters in the high jump.
Kayley Harnett also posted a personal best in the high jump with a leap of 1.53 meters.

In the long jump, Mulryne posted a season best and AARTFC qualifying mark of 5.26 meters.
Karla Gomez-Matos improved her personal best in the long jump by nearly a half meter going 5.01 meters.
