LA CROSSE, Wisc. – The TCNJ women's track and field team concluded their time at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Saturday, as
Lucia Garcia-Beltran took secured another Second Team All-America nod to conclude her career.
Garcia-Beltran ran in the prelims of the 100, placing 12
th with a time of 11.90. That finished ensured that she would end the meet as a two-time Second Team All-American, as she placed 13
th in the 100 on the first day of the meet. The senior ran with
Kelsey Thomas,
Petra Doherty, and
Mackenzie Burke in the 4x100, but the Lions were unable to finish in that event. As a result, they wrapped up their 2025-26 season.
Garcia-Beltran finished her remarkable graduate season as a four-time All-American, placing second in the 60-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Indoor Championships. She captured six NJAC gold medals, was named Most Outstanding Athlete at both conference championship meets, and was tabbed Metro Region Track Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA for the indoor campaign. Garcia-Beltran was a 5-time NJAC Track Athlete of the Week and leaves TCNJ with five program records in tow.
