NCAA Regional Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has released its first round of regional rankings for the Division III men's basketball season. The College of New Jersey has been ranked third in the Atlantic Region.
This is the first of three regional rankings that are released prior to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The rankings are used as a primary reference for the national committee in the selection process for the tournament.
TCNJ has won 11 out of its last 13 games. The Lions own a record of 15-8 this season and are tied for first place in the New Jersey Athletic Conference with Stockton. Both of those teams own a 12-4 record in NJAC play with two games left in the regular season.
Stevens is ranked first in the Atlantic Region with a record of 17-4. Yeshiva is right behind in second and owns a 20-1 record. The other NJAC teams in the rankings are Rutgers-Newark who is sixth, and Stockton who is eighth.
