PITMAN, N.J. – TCNJ freshman tight end
Lucas Spitzer was named the NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week, announced Sunday by the conference.
Spitzer led the TCNJ receiving corps with five catches and 60 yards in Saturday's 15-14 Homecoming victory over William Paterson. He had a key 18-yard reception on a drive that led to a TCNJ touchdown that put the Lions ahead, 9-7.
In his rookie season, Spitzer currently ranks second on the Lions with nine receptions.
TCNJ returns to action on Saturday night at Montclair State.
