D3hoops.com Release
EWING, N.J. – Travis Jocelyn of the TCNJ men's basketball team was named D3hoops.com First Team All-Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic Region, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Jocelyn closed out his excellent career with a terrific senior season. He averaged 20.9 points per game, which led the NJAC, and 7.1 rebounds per game, which ranked third in the conference. The senior forward also ranked second in the conference in field goal percentage with a mark of 46.3% and third in three-point percentage as he shot 34% from long distance.
This marks another well-deserved accolade that Jocelyn has earned over the course of the last two years. He was selected as NJAC Pony Wilson Player of the Year earlier this month, as well as First Team All-NJAC. Last year, Jocelyn earned D3hoops.com Third Team All-Atlantic Region and First Team All-NJAC recognition.
This season, Jocelyn exploded for a career-high 43 points in TCNJ's Feb. 6 victory over Stockton. That was only nine points shy of the single-game program record, set by Trenton State legend and former NBA player Greg Grant's mark of 52 points.
Jocelyn scored 863 career points for an average of 12.0 per game. He also tallied 334 rebounds and 110 three-pointers, and the 110 trifectas rank Jocelyn 12
th all-time in TCNJ history.
