PITMAN, N.J. – Jenny Landells and
Chase Eisenberg of the TCNJ women's tennis team were named to the final weekly NJAC awards of the season on Monday. Landells was named NJAC Player of the Week, while Eisenberg took home NJAC Rookie of the Week honors.
Landells earns her first career NJAC Player of the Week honor. In the NCAA Tournament, Landells went 2-0 in doubles play. She won her match with teammate
Charlotte Roarty, 8-0, against Franciscan. That same duo then won by an 8-4 tally against Washington & Lee. The combination of Landells and Roarty went an undefeated 12-0 in doubles play this season.
Eisenberg takes home her fifth NJAC Rookie of the Year award this season. The NJAC Rookie of the Year went 1-1 in both singles and doubles for TCNJ this past weekend. Eisenberg won her singles match against Franciscan, 6-1 and 6-1. She also took her doubles match with teammate
Alexa Vasile by an 8-1 tally. Eisenberg posted a record of 9-1 in singles action this year and an 8-1 record in doubles play with Vasile.
