PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The TCNJ women's swimming team opened the 2022 Metropolitan Conference Championships with a runner-up finish in the 800 free relay on Thursday night.

Faith Cortright, Shannon Hesse, Jamie Bowne, and Cameron Carrazza finished in 7:48.29, less than three second behind the winning relay from Rowan. The time is good for 35th on the Division III performance list this season.

The METs championship continues Friday morning with prelims in the 500 free, 200 IM, and 50 free in addition to the 1-meter dive. The night session will feature finals in those events as well as the 200 medley relay.
