ITHACA, N.Y. – Gabi Valladares put a bow on a sensational season with an 11^th-place finish on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Region 4 Diving Championship on Saturday.

Valladares posted a score of 395.60 across 11 dives at Ithaca's Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium, challenging for an NCAA qualification slot but ultimately coming up a few places short.

The weekend effort was a marked improvement from Valladares' performance at the 2020 regional championship, when she finished 25^th on 1-meter and 19^th on 3-meter.

Valladares accrued seven NJAC diver of the week awards and was named diver of the meet after winning both boards at the Metropolitan Conference Championship.
