WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The TCNJ women's track and field team wrapped up a spectacular indoor season with four of its student-athletes competing at the NCAA Championships on Friday.

Alli Uhl placed 11th in the 800 before teaming with Eliza Bruncaj, Amanda Demko, and Maria Grill to match that placement in the 4x400-meter relay at JDL-Fast Track in Winston-Salem.

Uhl landed just outside the top-8 in the prelims of the 800 meters, clocking a 2:14.63 to finish just .66 seconds back of the eighth-place finisher. Uhl was competing in an individual event at nationals for the first time in her career.

Less than two hours after completing the 800, Uhl took the second leg of the 4x400 relay. Grill ran the leadoff leg, followed by Uhl, Bruncaj and Demko, who brought the Lions home in a time of 3:54.98. They finished 11th, a little over a second out of the eighth-place spot they needed to qualify for Saturday's final.

TCNJ's indoor campaign included its fourth consecutive NJAC crown and a fourth-place finish at the AARTFC Championships. Eight Lions performed to All-Metro Region standards, and head coach Justin Lindsey was named Metro Region Coach of the Year.
