CHESTER, Pa. – The TCNJ women's track and field team opened the Widener Invitational on Friday night, sending a small contingent to Chester for a handful of throws and distance events.
Camryn Tomao was runner-up in the 10,000 meters, finishing in 43:15.79 in her event debut.
Cassidy Quinn placed eighth with a time of 18:34.92 in the 5000 meters, a few seconds off her personal best.
Jenna Priore trimmed five seconds off her PR with a 19:08.42, and Liz Askin was just shy of a PR at 19:20.07.
Brittany Schofield's 19:28.03 was a personal best by nearly 20 seconds, with
Nicole Fenske (19:30.61) and
Riley Stellitano (19:37.92) close behind.
Kerri McCarthy finished eighth in the shot put at 11.41 meters.
Jessica Reilly landed just outside of placing range in the discus with a mark of 33.61 meters.
Jean Walter finished 13
th – three spots behind Reilly – with a career-best 32.84 meters.
