Box Score JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team came back from a trip to North Jersey with an NJAC win in tow on Saturday, leaving little doubt in an 8-1 victory at New Jersey City.

The Lions, who dropped a 6-3 decision to nationally ranked Division II Wilmington on Wednesday, remained perfect at 6-0 against Division III opponents this season.

Chase Eisenberg and Alexa Vasile wasted no time in posting an 8-0 shutout of Giada Zorzan and Sara Zorzan on the No. 2 doubles court, followed closely by Charlotte Roarty and Jenny Landells with an 8-1 win over Vanshita Malhotra and Mila Gligorov at No. 1.

Aira Abalos and Anusha Rangu had to fight off a tough challenge from Eliza Clamor and Brittany Waugh at No. 3 doubles, but managed to keep the Gothic Knights pairing at arm's lengt in an 8-5 result.

Roarty grabbed a 6-2, 6-1 win against Giada Zorzan at No. 1 singles, moments before Abalos clinched the league victory on a 6-0, 6-1 rout of Clamor at No. 2.

Vasile defeated Malhotra by a 6-2, 6-4 scoreline in the third flight, and Eisenberg was a 6-1, 6-4 winner over Sara Zorzan at fifth singles.

Rangu staved off a tight battle from Gligorov to register a 6-4, 7-5 triumph at No. 4 singles before Waugh staved off TCNJ's sweep attempt with a 7-5, 2-6, 10-3 win over Morgan Grimmie in a thrilling match at No. 6.

The Lions are back home on Sunday to take on Division II Kutztown.
