BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 4x400-meter relay moved into the top-5 nationally and
Amanda Murillo won the javelin for the TCNJ women's track and field team during a productive first day at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championship at Moravian.

Megan Gasnick shot up to fifth on the Division III performance list with a blazing 3:47.61 in the 4x400-meter relay. The quartet maneuvered its way up to sixth on the program's all-time charts with the second-fastest time in the event since 2008.
Murillo coupled her NJAC javelin crown with a regional title on Wednesday, posting a toss of 41.83 meters on her first attempt of the afternoon. The throw easily surpassed the runner-up mark of 40.12 meters.
At the end of the night, TCNJ found itself in seventh place in the team standings with 18.5 points. Eight of 22 events were scored on Day 1 of the championship.
Valandra Riggins booked her spot in Thursday's 100-meter dash final with a mark of 12.23 seconds, good for sixth in prelims.
Bruncaj just missed qualifying for tomorrow's 100-meter hurdles final heat, placing ninth in prelims with a time of 14.96 seconds.
Nicole Lester tied for fifth in the pole vault at 3.46 meters.
Kelsey Kobus was 18
th in the steeplechase (12:17.31).
