ITHACA, N.Y.- The TCNJ men's track team put together an impressive day as a team at the Ithaca Quad Meet on Saturday that featured Ithaca, TCNJ, Cortland and Oneonta.

Andrew Lodge had a great day running. He took first place in the 400-meter run with a time of 49.76. To go with that, he was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished first on Saturday.

Along with Lodge in the 4x400 was
Tyler Scott,
Roman Rychkov and
Jason Engler. The foursome narrowly beat the Cortland 4x400 team by one second, crossing the finish line at 3:20.38.

Rychkov also had a solid day and an individual win of his own in the 800-meter run. His time of 1:57.10 was just enough to squeak by the second-place runner who trailed him by one hundredth of a second.

Tom Domozych was another Lion with a big day for himself, racking up a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash and a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash. He finished both races with times of 6.94 and 22.69 seconds consecutively.

Stephen Daramola had a great day throwing shot, he finished second in the event after his throw of 14.25 meters.
Â
Engler also notably took third in the high jump final, clearing 1.81 meters. Along with that, he also finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Â
Freshman
Vincent Rizzi leapt his way to second-place on Saturday in the long jump with a distance of 6.61 meters.

Michael Rodriguez,
Kevin Christensen and
Tyler Balas proved to be the best three mile-runners on Saturday afternoon, taking first through third respectively in the event. Rodriguez crossed the finish line at 4:16.98, followed by Christensen at 4:18.93 and then Balas at 4:25.29.

In the 3000-meter run, it was all Lions for the first four runners to complete the race.
Michael Bond finished first (8:52.52),
Chase Miller took second (8:58.87),
Benjamin Fanta finished third (9:00.89) and
Matt Granizo (9:11.59) came in fourth.

Sean Burtnett had a strong showing in the 500-meter run, taking second with his time of 1:07.79 and finishing less than a half a second behind the first-place runner.

TCNJ is back to the track next weekend, January 28
th when they head to Haverford College for the McElligot Invitational starting at noon.
