NEW ORLEANS – Thanks to both track and field teams' great performances at the outdoor regional meet, the Lions placed 29 student-athletes to the USTFCCCA All-Metro Region Team for the 2026 outdoor season.
 
Kelsey Thomas and Maxim Rychkov led the way for their squads, garnering four all-region honors each. In addition to Thomas and Rychkov, 11 other Lions received multiple all-region honors. The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams.
