LA CROSSE, Wisc. – On the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships,
Maxim Rychkov qualified for the final of the 100 by just one millisecond.
Rychkov placed exactly 9
th in the event, posting a time of 10.477. In doing so, he just edged out Lynchburg's Lamont Victoria, who ran 10.478, to book his spot in his first career 100-meter dash final.
Coincidentally, TCNJ's 4x400 relay – anchored by Rychkov and also featuring
Noah Traverso,
LeBron Rose, and
Nate Adams – also took the final qualifying spot on the first day of the meet.
The TCNJ men's track and field team looks ahead to the final day of NCAAs, where they will run in two finals: the 100 and 4x400.
