NEW LONDON, CT. – The TCNJ women's cross country team closed out the regular season with a 15th-place finish in the 6k at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday. Senior Emily Hoegler led the way as the Lions scored 497 points to finish strong among a field of 26 teams.

FINISH LINE SNAPSHOTS

• Hoegler finished first for TCNJ by crossing the finish line in 74th place with a time of 23:09.5.
• Fellow senior Cassidy Quinn was the second Lion to finish, crossing the line 84th overall after clocking a time of 23:21.7.
• Freshman Naesha Gadie continued her stellar debut season in the blue and gold by placing 105th overall with a time of 23:36.4.
• The sophomore duo of Alex Grivas and Savannah Hodgens represented the fourth and fifth finisher for TCNJ, with Grivas placing 133rd with a time of 24:00.7, while Hodgens ended her race 144th overall in 24:19.2.
• Rounding out the top seven, senior Lea Martin crossed the finish line in 183rd place before junior Molly Bossdorf finished 201st overall.

UP NEXT
The postseason begins in two weeks, on October 28, as the Lions will race on the course of Stockton for the NJAC Championship meet. The start time for the first race is scheduled for 10:30 AM.
