NEWARK, N.J.- Despite running in some tough weather conditions, the TCNJ women's cross-country team ran to a third place finish at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday.
 
FINISH LINE SNAPSHOTS:
 

• Katherine Rice was the top runner for the Lions today as she completed her 6k in 18:59, earning fifth behind four division I runners.
• Riley Stellitano and Valentina Palomo were the next two Lions to cross the finish line as they came in 28^th and 29^th with times of 20:18.5 and 20:19.5 respectively.
• Molly Burke came in just a few seconds after Palomo as she finished with a time of 20:23.9.
• The next TCNJ runner to complete their 6k race was Liz Claros, who ran to the tune of 20:28.3.
• Rounding out the top seven for the Lions were two runners with the exact same time. Carmelina Sanci and Etsub Gezahagne ran stride for stride together to finish with a time of 20:40.0.
