PITMAN, N.J. – Headlined by two major awards, the TCNJ women's tennis team saw a big haul in the annual All-Conference awards, as announced by the conference office Thursday morning.
Lions head coach
Scott Dicheck was deservedly named as the Flo Labenski Coach of the Year for the 15th time in his TCNJ tenure after coaching the Lions to an impressive 14-4 overall record, a perfect 6-0 conference record, and now a win away from the program's 40th-consecutive NJAC title.
Star senior
Charlotte Roarty three-peated as the Conference Player of the Year, while also making both the All-Conference Singles and All-Conference Doubles teams for the fourth-straight season. Following Wednesday's semifinals victory, Roarty has amassed a total of 40 wins on the year, with 18 coming in singles and 22 in doubles.
Sophomore
Aira Abalos was selected to her second career All-NJAC Singles team after winning a career-best 15 singles matches so far this season.
Senior
Alexa Vasile secured nods to both the All-NJAC Singles and All-NJAC Doubles team, both of which are the third in her career. Vasile has 14 singles win and 20 doubles win so far this season.
For the second time in her Lions career, junior
Chase Eisenberg was named to the All-NJAC Doubles team. She has won 19 total doubles matches this season.
Senior
Jenny Landells was named to the All-NJAC Doubles team for the third-consecutive season after 22 doubles victories on the year, which ties for her career best.
